Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, as part of the EU4 Private Sector Development (EU4PSD) project supported by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented under the Sustainable Economic Development and Employment Promotion programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina (SEDEP), is selecting an individual expert for:
Technical support for the operationalisation of the Green Economy Platform and Sustainability Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The SEDEP/EU4PSD project supports Bosnia and Herzegovina’s efforts to accelerate the digital and green transformation of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). Within this framework, GIZ is commissioning technical assistance to establish and operationalise the Sustainability Network, to support the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH (FTC BiH) in managing a multi-stakeholder framework for collaboration and knowledge exchange on sustainability topics. The assignment includes developing the governance and operational model of the Network, facilitating public-private dialogues, strengthening the role of chambers and business support organisations (BSOs), supporting SMEs with practical tools and advisory services, and ensuring structured integration into the Green Economy Platform.
We kindly ask all interested individual experts to submit the requested documentation only:
- List of at least 3 reference projects in green transition, energy efficiency, resource efficiency or sustainability in the private sector, implemented within the last 3 years
- List of at least 3 reference projects carried out in Bosnia and Herzegovina within the last 3 years
The technical assessment will be based only on reference projects that meet the minimum contract value of 20,000 EUR.
The technical assessment will be based on:
- Technical experience
- Capacity development and training for SMEs, BSOs, and public institutions on green transition for private sector
- Policy dialogue and institutional engagement on green transition for private sector
- Multi-stakeholder coordination and collaboration formats involving SMEs, chambers, BSOs, and public institutions on green transition for private sector
